Fury 2 v Perth 1

Perth have a good team that don't play that well. Fury went 1 down again. But a great quickly taken free kick from Fowler just outside the box and a spectacular turn and shoot from Daal won the game. They deserved too. Not because they play great football but because Perth's game was really lacking.

It was the Fury's first win at home. And they have a couple of thousand more fans than the snobs at Gold Coast.

After Newcastle and Fury's wins, if Wellington win, Roar could be last by the end of the weekend.

Great effort by Ferguson and Fury to get the points even though they were missing their entire back four plus target man.

Fury's one touch game was at times outstanding. Can't wait to see Roar vs Fury at Suncorp - expecting some excellent attacking football.

Several Perth players can't play a 20m weighted ball. Jamie Coyne is overrated.

The Roar v Fury game is mid week - Wed or Thursday - a joke made when they thought the A-League was going from strength to strength and the Fowler factor would pack them in.

This December game will be his first and only game in Brisbane. Will he be back next year?
