Only 19,000 in Etihad stadium built for 56,000. Very hollow. Supports the smash and grab teams which is CCM at their best.
But for CCM their first win in 11 games - 8 Months.
Victory looked better in 2nd half but couldn't finish. Poor percentage choice against the consistency kings.

It appeared a strange move to schedule Melbourne's first game and the season opener on a Thursday night. A significant amount of the usual crowd are children, who wouldn't have made an appearance due to it being a school night.
Still most teams would kill for a 19,000 on a Thursday night. It's just a little low by our standards.
