Brisbane 1 v Sydney 1

How frustrating. Goal scoring is what the game is about. And it is the side of the game that the Roar have struggled with. But this game could have been Roar anything to Sydney's one chance. Sure Sydney pressed a bit in the second half, but they were outclassed.

Oh for an out and out goal scorer - but then what would we loose?

Missed open goals to Murdocca and McKay - wow Murdocca is geting high (on the park).

Will Reinaldo, Nichols and Solorzance all get a go together?

Sydney look a lot safer without Reddy.

Roar's defence can look like glass.

Did Reinaldo actually go anywhere near Sydney's goal? Other than daft chip he put straight to the 'keeper when a proper strike was called for.

Murdocca is definitely getting well forward ... but WHY? I think the stats would show he is the most wasteful (shots at goal vs goals) player in the history of the A league - I think he's scored once from a tap in. WHY push that sort of player forward?

For all those on the Solorzano bandwagon - I'm not convinced. Barbarousos was far more influential and moe likely to create/take a chance.

Biggest concern for the Roar is that apart from Broich, we are clueless once the defence is set in and around their box. No striker or midfielder (apart from Broich) threatens from distance, and no midfielder (apart from Broich) knows how to put a ball between the defence and keeper for a striker to slide in. Likewise no striker ever seeems to be in the 6 yard box if a cross does happen that way? It's more likely to be McKay. Nichols or even Franjic that are closest!!

There may have been a few others we have seen.
