Everton 2 v Brisbane 1 - full time
Brisbane did very well. Held their own particularly in second half.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of Brisbane's play. Smith and Devere did wonderfully well against quality strikers. Broiche looked good. Steffanuto and Franjic provide great wide options going forward. Henrique's best game for Brisbane. McKay was everywhere ... if only he could lay that final killer pass .... My enthusisam for 10/11 has been restored. Well done lads.
David Moyes apparently said in an interview that the Roar was by far the strongest of the clubs that Everton had faced in Australia. If the Costa Rican is any good it just might be a good season .....
