Well, the trick with the Kids strategy thing is to have more kiddies coming through and a mix of older professionals to provide continuity and show the kiddies how its done.
And I think Brisbane will have that. Reinaldo isn`t a kid. Massimo and Henrique. Collen. Pantelis and whoever else comes in will provide some experience.
Zullo back to left wing. He isn`t Oar, but decent player.
I'd like to think you are right Clayton But I am finding it very hard to see the positives. Next year there could be a hugh gulf between the Roar and the rest of the competition. They just are not looking good enough. Plus their style of play is not entertaining.
Don`t get me wrong, I still think Brisbane could be looking at a while in the wilderness. But even in bad seasons there is still something to enjoy.
Look at Adelaide last year. Or Glory in the first A-league 4 seasons. Bad seasons, but there were still things to cheer the fans.
The owners pockets aren`t gonna get deeper anytime soon, but if they have learnt some humility and something about ticket pricing and community relations ... then it should be a smoother season.
I wish them well. But I can't see it. When you sign a Wellington reserve as one of your foreign players you know something is chronically wrong. Just can't see people going to see that.
Plus once again the Roar coach ignored members and didn't turn up for a function members pay for in their fees. Why should anyone follow them next year?

possible but unlikely.
shows how flawed the build a team from youth strategy is - you just get further and further behind.
